Capture library

Reopen saved work, resume a comparison, and keep important exports.

Open Captures in the SnapDiff popup to return to your saved screenshots and comparisons.

Use the layout buttons to switch between Grid and List. SnapDiff remembers your choice for the next time you open the library. Select individual captures with their checkboxes, or choose Select visible to select the current search results.

Continue your review

  • Open a capture to edit annotations or download it again.
  • Resume an unfinished A/B pair or Multi group.

Finish or discard the current A/B or Multi draft before starting another group. Single captures remain independent.

Rename a capture

Open a completed capture or comparison and click its title at the top of the editor. Edit the name in place, then press Enter or click outside to save. Press Escape to cancel. An empty name keeps the previous title.

The new name appears in the library and is used for future download filenames. Renaming leaves the original images, A/B labels, annotations, and workflow usage unchanged.

Keep important work

Your captures stay in the browser profile where you saved them. Each installation has its own library.

Export important images and reports before uninstalling SnapDiff or clearing browser storage, as those actions remove local work. Exported files are useful records to keep outside the browser.

After an update, use Reload SnapDiff if prompted. Reloading the existing installation keeps your library and settings.

Manage space and usage

Every feature is free, including local accessibility checks and watermark controls. See what is included.

Download important work before deleting it.

  • Trash icons in the library and editor open the same confirmation.
  • Select multiple library items to delete them together or export them as a PNG ZIP or one merged PDF.
  • Deleting an A/B or Multi comparison removes the whole group.
  • Its saved accessibility report is deleted too.
  • Downloaded copies remain where you saved them.

Deletion cannot be undone.

There is no workflow cap or paid access limit. Editing and downloading saved work remain free.

Find help and support

Open Help in the header of the library or editor. Choose Documentation for guides, Troubleshooting for common issues, Contact support to ask a question.

The same menu links to the SnapDiff website, blog, privacy policy, and terms of service. Links open in a new tab, leaving your review open.
